Dear Community Groups and Leaders
The impacts of the Coronavirus continue to affect our world, and the most severe impacts are down at the household level. As the situation continues on for the next few months, we can do something for those who need our help. There is an outpouring of love and inspiration to get through this and we now have a place where those offers can be matched with people who need support.
West Seattle Support for COVID-19 is a one stop website where people can ask for help and others can offer help. Resources can be offered and organizations can ask for items like gloves and games for kids in support of their service work.
It’s easy and on-line. The website has a language translation feature built in, and we have established a phone number for people without technology, we’ll take their call and enter the information for them.
Please help us get the word out so we can help anyone in West Seattle who needs it during this stressful and trying time. A flyer is attached, if people want to print it for their neighbors who are not on-line or forward to friends to get the word out. No one should be left without help because they didn’t know where to turn.
